Activity 1: Election Time – Why Should You Lead?
Overview: Each participant runs for the role of team leader by preparing and delivering a persuasive speech highlighting their strengths and vision.
- Set the context: “Your team will lead a major company initiative. Who should lead?”
- Give participants 15 minutes to prepare a 2-minute speech addressing:
- The strengths they bring to the team.
- Examples of leadership or problem-solving experience.
- Their first action as team leader.
